Taiken will join the weekly Dubtribu Records Show on Fokus FM for an one hour set. The show starts at 6 pm. Taiken will be on the decks from 7 till 8 pm, live from his home studio alongside with the mighty C4TR on the m-i-c. If everything works out, we will continue after that with a two hour life stream for the Steppas Choice Show with additional support by the big Dj Flexible. Tune in!

Die Katze ist aus dem Sack! Taiken wird den St.Galler Rapper Doppia Erre bei seinem zweiten offiziellen Album begleiten. Lyrical Psycho II, so der Name des Werkes, wird aus zwei Teilen bestehen. Cd eins beglückt die Hip Hop Heads, Doppia Erre reimt in gewohnter Manier zu deepen Beats. Teil zwei ist eine Sammlung von Remixen und Versions die Taiken speziell für Erre produziert hat.

Um das fast fertige Projekt nun auf den Tonträger zu bringen, brauchen wir deine/eure Hilfe. Auf der Crowdfunding-Plattform WeMakeIt könnt ihr verschiedene Geschenke und Specials erwerben. Von Cd’s über Shirts, Hoodies, Prints, limited Vinyl, ja sogar eine Koch-Session, Soundsystem-Show und Dubplates. Das gesammelte Geld wird in die Produktion all dieser Bestandteile gesteckt. Neben all den Merchandise-Artikeln braucht es ja auch Mastering, Testpressung, Druck, Grafik, Suisa etc. etc. etc.

WeMakeIt Plattform

We are still full of good memories about the last little outdoor session in september 2013. And since it’s been a year already, and so many people told us how awesome it was, we thougt „hey, lets just do it again“.

So here we are: still small, still private, still lovely & cozy. But with a new and fresh line­up. Delivering you the best on beats and rhythms from hip hop over roots reggae to dub-techno and, of course, some decent dubstep. We start at 14:00 in the afternoon, so come early and stay late!

Well known, almost veteran, Dj Ham­E from the former legendary PLLB (Profi Liga Linsenbühl) Crew, starts the session with Hip Hop like we used to know it and are still in love with. Then Kephas Selecta and Don Pedro take over for some education in pure and original roots music. Very experienced sound man on the controls – watch and learn about music and passion.

After getting into mood trough listening to our all roots, hip hop and dub/reggae, we take a closer look where this influence leads us today. Comfort noise ploy shows us the deeps of electronic dub techno while paying tribute to art of dub through expanding the sound live with traditional efx-­units and vocal experimentation. Vibe trough dawn till dark, when the mystical Tengus climb down their trees to deliver the martial art of dread mountain bass.

The grill will be there again. Bring your own food and drinks, take a swim, or just meet old friends – But vibe to the sound. There is limited space – so grab an invitation up front. To do this just write us an e­mail with your first and last name and address and we will contact you.
